Online Consultation for Anxiety

Anxiety becomes a clinical concern when worry is persistent, hard to control and starts shaping daily decisions. Our clinicians assess what is driving it and discuss the options with you.

What anxiety means

Anxiety is the body and mind preparing for a threat. It is useful in short bursts. Anxiety disorders describe a pattern where that alarm stays switched on — often without a clear trigger — and interferes with work, sleep, study or relationships.

Common signs and symptoms

  • Persistent worry that is difficult to switch off
  • Restlessness, feeling on edge or easily startled
  • Racing heart, breathlessness, chest tightness or nausea
  • Difficulty falling asleep or broken sleep
  • Avoiding places, people or situations
  • Difficulty concentrating or a mind that goes blank

When professional support may help

  • Symptoms have lasted more than a few weeks
  • Worry is affecting work, study, sleep or relationships
  • You have had panic attacks
  • You are using alcohol or other substances to cope

How Veeras Global can help

Structured talking therapies such as CBT and ACT, with psychiatric review where medication may be appropriate.

Frequently asked questions

Can anxiety be treated through an online consultation?

Assessment and talking therapy for anxiety are routinely delivered over secure video. Your clinician will tell you if an in-person review is more appropriate for your situation.

Will I be prescribed medication?

Not automatically. Many people are supported with therapy alone. A psychiatrist discusses medication with you only when it is clinically indicated, and explains the reasoning.

Is the session confidential?

Yes. Consultations are private and clinical records are kept confidential in line with our privacy policy.
