Online Anger Management Counselling
Anger is a normal emotion. It becomes a problem when its intensity, frequency or expression damages relationships, work or your own wellbeing.
What anger management means
Anger difficulties are rarely about anger alone. Underneath the outbursts there is often untreated stress, sleep loss, pain, anxiety, low mood, trauma or substance use. Assessment looks for those drivers, then therapy builds the skills to notice escalation early and respond differently.
Common signs and symptoms
- Reacting far more strongly than a situation warrants
- Regret, shame or exhaustion after an outburst
- Family, friends or colleagues walking on eggshells around you
- Physical build-up: clenched jaw, racing heart, tunnel vision
- Shouting, slamming or breaking things during conflict
- Using alcohol or other substances to take the edge off
When professional support may help
- Someone close to you has said they feel unsafe or afraid
- Anger is affecting your job, driving or parenting
- Outbursts are becoming more frequent or more intense
- You feel unable to stop once anger has started
How Veera's Global can help
Structured anger management work using cognitive behavioural methods, with couples or family sessions where the conflict sits in a relationship.
Frequently asked questions
Will I be judged in the session?
No. Clinicians work with anger as a pattern to understand, not a character fault. The session focuses on what sets it off and what changes it.
What if the anger is in my relationship?
Individual work and couples sessions can both help. If there is any risk of harm, your clinician will discuss safety first and may recommend in-person or local services.
